Dr David McLeod

David studied medicine at the University of NSW, graduating in 1994. He completed internship and resident years at Liverpool Hospital and then began specialist training in Anaesthesia  at Liverpool Hospital including rotations to Canberra and Bankstown Hospitals, and The Childrens Hospital at Westmead.

He then undertook a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia at the University of Washington SEATTLE, USA before returning to Sydney in 2003.

His main areas of interest are Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia and Cardiopulmonary Bypass and Perfusion, and anaesthesia for Obstetrics, Orthopaedics and Plastic Surgery.

Dr McLeod currently holds accreditation at Sydney Southwest, Campbelltown, Sydney, St George and Norwest Private Hospitals, as well as being a Senior Visiting Medical Officer at Liverpool Hospital.

Outside of medicine and anaesthesia he enjoys photography and cycling.
